Character, Setting and Plot
Like most things, once you take a closer look, there's a lotta character, intrigue and the recognition of a life having been lived.
The two in the middle, for instance, in the 'Alice' position, the red and yellow leaves. These two friends found each other on the path after some heavy rain and a cold night. They'd both been through the wars. It is always a comfort to a find a like-minded companion, even later in life.
In the top left, the hunchback of Houghlahan. Something of an ugly duckling amongst his siblings, his bulbous features one day caught the eye of a wandering photographer and his plainer brothers and sisters were forced, at last, to hold their tongues. But they too have their story to tell, as do we all.
