Regular Surprise
The wonderful thing about nature is that it's so bloody ordered. Pinecones and plantains grow in an Italian-identified sequence. The sun continues to rise and set thanks to the regular spin of the Earth, while rather cleverly still keeping us onboard. It is all very reassuring.
The other wonderful thing about nature is how beautifully random it is. Fluffy weeds stay long where a mower has just been. Colourful leaves turn into worried fish. And, when you're lucky, a sign of surprise.
